This year, Ash Wednesday if March 5. Ash Wednesday is a day of public confession and repentance that marks the beginning of Lent for Christians. It's a time to acknowledge brokenness, mortality, and humanity of all human, and to recommit to living by God's Word.
Community Presbyterian Church will be offering a short worship service on this day, starting at 6:00pm, to include some scripture readings and the imposition of ashes, for those who wish to partake. All are welcome.
