Hello all,
With the general election less than a week away, I want to offer some worship resources that our denomination has put together. The prayers for reconciliation and the prayers for Christian and Citizen Sunday may be helpful to you.
Before this election, we've had deep issues to address. After it is finished, we will have deep issues to address. Amid the tumult, may we center ourselves on Christ, our sure foundation, and not on fear, anxiety, anger, derision, self-serving pride, or anything else that is contrary to the Gospel.
May the Holy Spirit burn within us with a passion to do God's will. May God's will be done. May we face what comes next with faithful action and powerful prayer.
Best,
Marcus
