Sweet Treats Mission Project 🍫

Who doesn't like sweets? and who doesn't like to be given a treat for no reason except because they're special?

Our Sunday School students believe all of us deserve treats, so are undergoing a "Sweet Treats" mission project in our local community.

The students are accepting donations of individually-wrapped candies from now through Sunday, October 29, and will be creating small gift bags for residents and staff at ProMedica Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (formerly known as Manor Care). Why? Just to show the residents and staff that they are special people, and that the students care about them. As one student said, "my grandpa was in a rehab place, and they were so nice to him!"

Should you wish to help our students and their project, please drop off a bag or two of candies (at the Nursery School door on a weekday, or on the bench by the church sanctuary/front door on the weekend) and/or come to the Halloween Party on Sunday, Oct 29 (11:30am - 1pm) to help out!
